When people think of Nightlife, and the best places in the country go out, they immediately think of the huge cities, London, Manchester etc which do indeed have some great bars and clubs for all tastes. But with these large names and exclusive venues, a premium is placed on the drinks and entry, often making the good nights out too expensive for the average clubber. So where else is there for the nightlife junkie?? Where can some of the best nightlife in the country be found, at affordable prices? I’ll tell you where, Nottingham, thats where. Due to its high student population, clubs and bars are cheap and plentiful for all, meaning that almost any clubber will find the right venue for them. From Underground music, such as drum n bass and heavy techno, to cheesy student nights and RnB, its all here. Its not just for students either, the general public are allowed in many of the venues during the week, and almost all at the weekends. Many locals complain about students, but at the end of the day, they are the ones responsible for the lower drinks and entry prices in the city throughout the week.

So what exactly does Nottingham have to offer in the way of Nightlife? Currently it offers some of the biggest and best clubs in the country, with Gatecrasher having recently taken over Media, providing top music and some of the biggest DJs from around the world. Oceana, opened 2 ½ years ago, has become some what of a student favorite. The third in the brand, this club offers clubbers 6 different experiences in one night, with 2 full size clubs, 3 bars, 1 restaurant and a VIP area, its no wonder this has become one of the busiest clubs in the country. The weekends here are always packed playing the best in commercial dance, RnB and some slightly harder music at times to keep all tastes happy. Be sure to arrive early to avoid the always long queues.

For the harder clubber there is Stealth, which offers hard house, techno, trance and Drum n Bass nights every month, with some of the top DJs in their respective fields making regular appearances. Nottingham was one of the pioneering city’s for Drum n Bass as it has grown over the last 10 years, and stealth offers some of the largest nights in the country for this ever popular underground genre. Massive DJs and producers such as Hype, Mampi Swift, Andy C and many more can often be found whipping the dance floor into an adrenaline filled frenzy with some of the very best and biggest tunes around. There are also a number of other clubs around the City, with Ocean being the number 1 student club, playing a variety of big tunes, cheese, RnB and all the classics all week. Mode is another popular venue with a great atmosphere at all times.

Clubbing not really your thing?? Then why not check out the HUGE range of bars around the City. There are bars to suit every taste, from dirt cheap student bars such as Varsity and Templars to the up market sophistication of the Lace Market. One of my personal favourite bars in Nottingham has to be the Pitcher and Piano. This is not the usual bar, as it is set in a renovated church, with impressive architecture on the outside and beautiful interior design, with a raised circular VIP area right in the center of the venue. Drinks aren’t the cheapest here, but its well worth it for the amazing atmosphere and great service.

With all of this in one place, who needs the over inflated prices of the capital?? Nottingham is the place to be!

It’s really no wonder that Irish people love their pubs. They’re a great meeting place to have a conversation with an old pal, chat over a coffee, enjoy some lunch with friends, watch a match on TV or just slowly sip a pint while reading the evening paper. At night, people come here to socialise and unwind with a few drinks and most pubs have live traditional Irish music so you can sit back and be entertained.

Pubs in Ireland have a unique atmosphere and ambiance that cannot be found anywhere else. Your pub experience will be all the better if you mingle with the locals, who you’ll find to be very friendly and sociable. Typical phrases that you might hear in an Irish pub include; “Slainte” which is a toast to say “Good Health” and “the craic” which means fun.

Traditional Irish pubs are a hit with visitors to Ireland, but there are also plenty of trendy bars, disco bars, super-pubs, not to mention a healthy array of nightclubs, so when the pub calls ‘last orders’ you can hit the dance floor!

If you’re a night owl in serious need of some dancing, partying or socializing then you’ve come to the right place, as Ireland has a legendary nightlife scene. You’ll find disco bars and nightclubs in most towns and cities. If in the capital, head to the renowned Temple Bar area - it’s crammed with pubs, clubs and restaurants - all the right elements for a great night out!

The drink of choice in Ireland is Guinness - which we probably now consider to be our “national drink”. You can also enjoy favorites such as Heineken, Budweiser, Carlsberg, Harp, Murphy’s and Smithwicks. The average price of a pint is about 3.50 but expect to pay more for it in cities.

Pubs can serve until 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday and until 12.30am on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Most pubs turn on and off their lights to tell customers that it’s last orders and you definitely know it’s time to go when you hear the barman shout ” have you no homes to go to?!!”

Socializing in Ireland has taken on a new dimension since the introduction of the smoking ban. Now smoking is not allowed in pubs, which has in turn created a cleaner and more sociable atmosphere. But don’t worry if you’re a smoker, as you’ll find most pubs have a smoking shelter, smoking hut or a beer garden.

If you have kids in tow bear in mind you’ll have to head away early as children aren’t allowed in the pub after 10pm in the Summer and 9pm in the Winter.

Though famed for Nelson’s Column and a high pigeon population, Trafalgar Square is also a popular London night spot, with a dozens of restaurants, cool cafes and bustling bars just a few minutes from the Square itself.

The Rockwell Hotel bar, for instance, is a stylish bar with a roof terrace that overlooks the Square and the rest of Westminster. The fashionable interior is modern with plenty of glass, marble, leather and lacquered wood, and the design of the hotel is such that there are no barriers or boundaries, giving the impression of a large, open, flowing space in which to relax. This calming space is an antidote to the chaotic crowds outside that swarm over Trafalgar Square, and is famed for its cocktails. The clientele of the Rockwell tends to be suited business men who come to take advantage of the roof terrace and enjoy what is a classy retreat from London’s hectic West End.

Just a few minutes on from the Rockwell is Akbar, a sumptuous and stylish bar with décor based on the Indian Architecture of the Mogul period. Akbar maintains an eclectic mix of sprits from around the world, with bottles ranging from Icelandic Cucumber Vodka to Japanese Shochu. Indian snacks are on offer for those feeling peckish, but a bar this cool does come at a price, so if you’re on a tight budget, you best stick to the Kingfisher beer.

The Play Room, a dedicated Burlesque bar just nine minutes walk from Trafalgar Square is adorned with zebra skin, leather, grand pianos and Art Deco lighting - creating a glamorous atmosphere. The Burlesque performances attract a super cool clientele including singers and celebrities, and Akbar has been deemed London’s coolest bar.

Many hotels in London and in particular the West End have swanky bars attached, but few have night clubs, so where do you go when your hear the cries of “Last orders, gentlemen please”?

Well, you could do a lot worse than heading for The End, a hang out that started a new wave of clubbing in the capital with a high quality, high-tech sound system and friendly atmosphere. Most of the world’s top DJs have played here at some point; Roni Size, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mils, Layo and Bushwacka are just a handful of the big names to have passed through. Renowned for having the best sound system in London, The End is only 14 minutes walk from Trafalgar.

So forget about feeding the pigeons; with so much night time activity on offer, Trafalgar is anything but square.

Known for its pulsing nightlife, London, England has much to offer the partygoer looking to live it up through the night. Covering a range of musical preferences from hip hop and R&B to trance and rock (and everything in between), the city is a hot favourite among English clubbers and tourists alike. Although the pubs tend to close by 11 pm, the dance clubs are often open until the wee hours of the morning.

Dancers should head out to the London Aquarium Dance Club. With two dance floors and a stage for live performances, this club is one of the most happening in the vibrant city of London. Chill out for a while in the lounge or relax in the pool or Jacuzzi that has been especially set up for the guests of the club.

The well-known Ministry of Sound is one of the UK’s best loved brands in music. Along with all of the hit albums to their name, they now have a club of the same name. Attracting about 5,000 people each weekend, this is one of the most hep clubs in the city.

For something a little out of the ordinary, one club with a place in history can be found over in the notorious East End of London: The Blind Beggar Pub. Most famous for once being the scene of a 1966 showdown between Ronnie Kray (of the Kray Twins) and George Cornell, the club is now open to patrons from all walks of life who simply want to chill out and have a good time.

To go back a little further in time, The King’s Head & Eight Bells is about 200 years old and stands on the site of two Tudor alehouses. It carries a traditional atmosphere and even lays claim to its very own wine cellar ghost. Visit this bar for the wonderful premium cask beers or wines and for the large menu, which specializes in traditional Sunday roast lunches.

Jerusalem Bar is a cross between a warm country pub and grand Parisian salon. It’s far more mellow than the dance bars, but has a friendly appeal and visitors are served up an excellent meal at great prices.

Bar Rumba features a number of hugely popular theme nights. Expect everything from salsa and rumba to Monday nights filled with jazz and soul-tunes churned out by top radio jockey Giles Peterson. Similarly, Gossips has much to offer in terms of theme nights with concepts ranging from reggae to rhythm and blues.

The nightlife in London is just like its city portrays, famous, bustling, and nonstop. The latest DJ’s spin their groove at the clubs and at some of the best spots; lines go on forever if you don’t head down early. So where do you actually head to if you want a good night out in London?

Well before you get started, a few things you should know. The legal age for alcohol consumption in London is 18 years and almost all clubs require an admission fee. Depending on where you head to, you might have dress codes implemented on you and depending what kind of club or pub you’re after, a pint will cost anywhere from £2.50 and up. (Expect to pay more for the high end clubs though).

If you’re the kind who’s looking for clubs, the worlds most famous Ministry of Sound is located right here in London. 103 Gaunt Street, this club has been running for almost 10 years with its ever stylish club settings and long queues. Other clubs that are along this mass would be Fabric located on 77A Charterhouse Street, The End; located at 18A West Central Street. If any of these clubs are your fancy, be sure to head down a little earlier than you’d intend or be prepared to have to wait in line for quite awhile as these clubs are some of the most popular with both the locals and tourists alike.

If you are into the good old traditional pub scene, try George Inn located on 77 Borough High Street. This 17th century spot would definitely have you talking with its quirky sense of taste. If an old classic pub with a Victorian interior and beautiful hardwood floors sound good to you… The Salisbury will be one to please with its clear cut glass mirrors and traditional cask ales on tap. Located on 90 St Martines Lane, enjoy the daily specials of roast pork, chicken or beef as you relax with an ale in hand.

Looking for some style? Want something that looks so exclusive and modern? Try clubs like Annex3, a stylish cocktail bar with some of the dressiest cocktails and people to compliment them or Milk and Honey; a club that oozes mystery and stylish settings, all while keeping the evening as sophisticated as possible. Both can be found at 6 Little Portland Street and 61 Poland Street respectively. These are the clubs and bars that come with reservations’ and dress code though, as they try and set themselves apart in a class of their own.

While you are cruising the nightclub, keep you flirting eyes out for the woman that is alone. She is usually the easiest to meet and attract. She is there for a reason and you can be the lucky man to fulfill that reason.

Also while walking, keep that sexy-looking gleam in your eye. Literally try to melt women with your eyes. If you make eye contact with a woman, make sure you give her a friendly smile and if she is close enough to you, simply say,”Hi.” That is all it takes and with practice it will come easy.

If you make contact with some woman across the way from you and she turns away, don’t give up on her. Try to make eye contact again and smile at her. If she smiles back, approach her immediately! This is an opportunity that must not be passed up because it’s an open invitation for you to come over and introduce yourself or ask her to dance.

Whatever you do, don’t stare at a woman. This is impolite and nobody likes to be stared at. Just look at her long enough to make it quite clear that you see her and then immediately look away. What you are saying with your eyes when you look at her this way is, “I know you are there and I would not dream of invading your privacy.” Just keep looking at her off and on until you establish some meaningful eye contact and exchange smiles. So, there you have it, the art of flirting.

What really amazes me is these guys at the nightclubs that don’t even flirt with women. They just stare into space or look down at the floor. If they do accidently catch the eye of a woman, they look away as quickly as possible and let it go at that. They just don’t know what they are missing and what they are missing out on is meeting women the easy way.

So my friend, if you’re like this, make it a point to stop staring into space and start flirting with women. Flirt with every woman in sight. It’s a lot of fun and you will be attracting more women than ever before.

You’re at a nightclub scamming for babes. Things aren’t going good. Looks like you’ll be leaving the club like you usually do… alone. You think to yourself… “how do I meet women at nightclubs?” In this article, I will show you how.

The nightclub is a strange environment. Go to one, and you’ll see women engaging in one of the greatest mysteries of all time - Dressing up sexy to get attention for men, then acting annoyed when men actually give them attention. So how do you overcome this obstacle? With some strategy and tactics. Let me share with you some of my favorites. They have become my favorites based one criteria – the results the bring.

Nightclub strategy one: I’m not them

Put yourself in a beautiful woman’s high heels. You’re at a nightclub. How many times will you get approached? Once, twice? Hardly. Try ten times… or even more.

As a man who “gets it”, this is actually to your advantage. Why? Because most guys are dumb, drunk and totally clueless when it comes to creating attraction.

Say to yourself right now… “I’m not them!”

Who are “them”? The men who offer to buy women drinks, kiss up to them in nightclubs and use lame pickup lines. All these actions accomplish one thing… loss of power. You don’t want to communicate to a woman that you aren’t in control of yourself and out of your element.

You need to have this mind state - you are comfortable in your own reality, and nothing she can do will disrupt that comfort. Remember, there will be resistance when you approach a woman. It’s part of the nightclub ritual. She’s testing you. Are you in control of your own reality, or will you give up your power at the first sign of trouble? And in a nightclub, it’s even more specific. Can you keep up a conversation with a woman that isn’t exactly easygoing and friendly?

There’s two kinds of resistance. One kind if from the “rude woman” and it’s very real. Too tough a nut to crack in one setting. If you approach women regularly, you will run into her kind once in a while. Don’t take in personal. Move on.

The other kind of resistance is “give me an excuse to be friendly to you” resistance. If you are picking up on this vibe, press on my friend. She has given you the first indicator that she is interested in you.

Here’s two ways to keep the conversation flowing. Charm and routine. My definition of charm is teasing a woman in a way that makes her laugh. It communicates that you are both confident and fun to be around. This is a great formula for producing attraction, and it’s a great way to avoid the “friendship zone”.

Routine is a category for things like palmistry, handwriting analysis, magic, and astrology. Read books on any of these if you want to learn a few routines to make interesting conversation.

After creating conversation and passing her resistance test, you have two options. Stay and try to close the deal, or get her contact information and leave. Nightclubs are a tricky environment with lots of distractions such as drunk, dumb guys and her group of protective (and jealous) friends. You must be very skilled in “attraction conversation” to keep the flow going.

If you’re not experienced with this yet I suggest you get her number and follow up later on your own terms. There are less chances to make errors this way.

Before this article gets too long, I’ll give you a quick summary one other great technique for beginners. It’s called the “buddy system”, and is designed specifically for nightclubs. Get a friend to “scout” for you, and do the same for him. Have him approach a woman you like and say, “Hey there. You know something? I think my friend would really like you. He’s…” and then have him talk you up.

Soon you show up and are introduced. This technique throws a woman off balance, because her radar is programmed only for direct approaches. This makes the initial conversation with her a lot more easier.

In the end remember… it’s just a woman at a nightclub. It doesn’t matter if she likes you or not. Just talk to her. She expects you to. Practice communicating that you are comfortable in your own reality, and that you are different than every other drunk and dumb guy that approaches her.

Do this and you’ll wonder why you ever thought it was hard to meet women at nightclubs.

Night clubs were really big during the 1920s and 1930s. Plenty of movies have been made depicting the night club scene. Some have, no doubt, be glamorous portrayals and some not so. The roaring 20s certainly had its share of excitement at the local night club with its torch singers and comics. This tradition lasted for many years, all the way to the era of night club performers like Dean Martin and Buddy Hacket. But over the years the nightclub scene has changed a lot, mostly because people have changed. The world will live in is a lot different from the world of the 20s and 30s. There’s more to do and more to see. Suddenly, sitting in a club and listening to somebody belt out a few songs isn’t the thrill it used to be. Hearing a 3rd rate comic tell a few bad jokes doesn’t do it for people as much as it used to. So what exactly has happened to the night club?

Well, the night club is still around. It’s just changed a lot since the early days. Today, the night club scene is more about getting the audience involved than ever before. In addition to the entertainers, who still make the scene, there are other forms of entertainment that take place at various night clubs, depending on where you go.

For example. Some night clubs have amateur night, which is really a scream. This is where people in the audience get up on stage and perform. They might sing, or tell jokes, or even do magic tricks. You have to look hard to find night clubs that offer this activity, but they exist. And for those who are daring, it is an awful lot of fun and a great way to get over your stage fright.

And of course there are your night clubs located in the gambling districts of certain cities that offer their patrons the chance to maybe win a little money on the side. Oh sure, this went on in the 20s and 30s too, but in back rooms with a guy by the name of Vito rolling the dice. Today, this is done out in the open in specially designated rooms for these activities.

Then there are some night clubs today that have nights that don’t feature any live entertainment at all. On these nights you will usually have a DJ spinning the latest hit records of yesterday and today to dance to. They may even run a dance contest that evening and award a prize to the best couple, as voted by a select panel.

Obviously, the night club wouldn’t be complete with the drinks. Most night clubs have just about every kind of alcoholic beverage that you can think of. The bartenders who work at your finer night clubs are highly skilled. These aren’t the kind of guys you’re going to find at the corner bar. These are the cream of the crop.

A night club can still be and is a very enjoyable experience. If you’ve never been to one, grab a hold of your best girl and take her Club 7 in Las Vegas. You won’t be sorry.

Here are the seven mistakes you want to avoid if you want to meet the man of your dreams:

1. Don’t bump into him on purpose. Some women try to use the “accidentally bump into him” move, and sometimes it works. But sometimes, it causes him to lose his drink, and nothing worsens a bad first impression than a purposeful bump that causes him to get his shirt drenched with alcohol.

2. Don’t rudely interrupt him when he is talking to other people. If he is talking with his friends and you rudely interrupt, he is going to find you more annoying than attractive. Wait for a natural break in the conversation, or simply approach and lightly touch his shoulder for a second to get his attention and wait for him to say something.

3. Do not go up and dance with him when he is clearly dancing with another girl. This is especially bad if the girl is his girlfriend or wife. If in doubt, step back and watch for a bit to see how they interact. Check for a wedding ring, too.

4. Refrain from using cheesy pickup lines. There are some pick up lines that are funny and can get him relaxed and laughing. But there are those old, crusty, and cheesy pickup lines that simply make you look stupid. If you’re going to try a line, go for one that sounds sincere and not over the top.

5. Don’t assume that he came to the club to pick up a woman. Also, don’t assume he is there alone or that he wants to dance, have a drink, etc. He might just be there to support his friend who is looking to pick someone up.

6. Do not invade his personal space at first. He may be very uncomfortable with you standing too close or touching him. Don’t get in his space right away, especially if he seems uncomfortable.

7. Do not ask for his number until you are about to part. Doing so too early can make you appear desperate. Wait until you’re about to leave and then ask him if he would like to have your number.

If you can avoid these seven dating mistakes the next time you want to meet a guy you find attractive, you will vastly improve your dating success.

An interesting article how to meet girls in nightclub. Should ally everywhere.

Nightclubs, in my opinion are not the best place in the world to look for permanent relationships with single women. However, you must not overlook this source of meeting potential mates. You can get lucky sometimes and meet someone special. And the odds are in your favor that you can meet some women for a good time (if you know what I mean).

To help you succeed with single women in nightclubs, here are a few tips:

* In general, single women don’t go to nightclubs to get picked up. With this in mind, don’t treat them like they are a piece of meat.
* While you’re there ask guys there where are the best nightclubs in town to meet women.
* Don’t go to nightclubs where you feel uncomfortable. This interferes with your success in meeting women.
* If you are not having much success with women at your local nightclubs, try nightclubs in another town near you.
* Don’t wait until the end of a song to ask for a dance. You want to ask at the beginning of a song so you can spend more time with her on the dance floor.
* To save money on your bar tab, sip on wine all night. This way you will stay sober and not get drunk. Keep in mind that women are turned off by drunken men at nightclubs.
* Always keep these facts in mind when you are at nightclubs: Women drink alcohol at nightclubs and this tends to loosen her inhibitions, which is to your advantage.
* Women in nightclubs want a non-physical and non-sexual approach. In other words don’t be pawing at a woman’s body after just meeting her.
* Don’t stand around all night waiting for something to happen - You Must Take Action!
* Send women that you are attracted to a glass of champagne. Use your waitress for this purpose. She will be very curious who sent her the drink.
* If a woman smiles at you first, she’s interested in you and you must take advantage of this gesture. Approach her immediately and introduce yourself. So, be on the lookout for women who smile at you.
* This last comment is very important to your reputation at nightclubs: If you are a player at nightclubs and use women just for sex you will develop a bad reputation. The girls that you use have other female friends and they will warn them about you and to avoid you.
